15 hours Free Entitlement Funding

Free Entitlement Funding is also known as Early Years Funding or the Nursery Education Grant. This funding is available to all children from the start of the school term after their third birthday.

30 Hours Funding

30 hours free entitlement funding is a scheme that was introduced to help reduce the cost of childcare fees. It was launched in September 2017, for children aged 3 and 4 years old. The Childcare Choices website (link below) provides details on how to check if you are eligible to access this support and you will be able to submit an online application. Once signed up, parents receive an eligibility code will be used by childcare providers  to check with the local authority who will confirm that 30 hours discount can be claimed.
